BLDR works without an internet connection. Capture data offline and sync automatically when you're back online.
How Offline Mode Works
- Data is stored locally on your device
- An "offline" indicator appears in the app
- You can continue creating and editing records
- When connection is restored, data syncs automatically
What Works Offline
- ✅ Creating Daily Logs
- ✅ Logging timesheets
- ✅ Taking photos
- ✅ Recording safety meetings
- ✅ Creating work orders
- ✅ Viewing recently accessed data
What Requires Internet
- ❌ Searching across all projects
- ❌ Viewing records not previously cached
- ❌ Sending notifications
- ❌ Generating reports
- ❌ User account changes
Preparing for Offline Use
- Open projects you'll need while offline
- View recent records to cache them
- Download any reference documents needed
- Ensure app is updated to latest version
Sync Before End of Day
Make sure to sync your data at least once per day when you have internet. Unsaved offline data is only stored on your device.
Sync Status
Check sync status in the app:
- Green checkmark - All data synced
- Yellow cloud - Pending sync
- Red indicator - Sync error (tap for details)
Troubleshooting Sync Issues
- Check your internet connection
- Force close and reopen the app
- Pull down to manually trigger sync
- Contact support if issues persist
