Collect legally-binding digital signatures on forms, safety meetings, timesheets, and other documents within BLDR.

How Digital Signatures Work

BLDR's digital signatures capture:

  • Signature image - Drawn on screen with finger or stylus
  • Timestamp - Exact date and time of signing
  • Signer identity - Linked to user account
  • Device info - IP address and device details
  • GPS location - Where the signature was captured (optional)

  1. Open the form or document requiring signature
  2. Navigate to the signature field
  3. Tap the signature box
  4. Sign with your finger or stylus on the screen
  5. Tap Accept to confirm
  6. The signature is saved with the document

Legal Validity

E-SIGN Act Compliant

BLDR's digital signatures comply with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (E-SIGN) Act and are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures for most purposes.
