Types of Notifications

Assignment Notifications

  • Work orders assigned to you
  • Punch items assigned
  • Tasks requiring your attention

Approval Notifications

  • Timesheets pending approval
  • Change orders requiring signature
  • Documents awaiting review

Alert Notifications

  • Incident reports submitted
  • Failed inspection items
  • Overdue tasks
  • Equipment maintenance due

Notification Channels

Push Notifications

Real-time alerts on your mobile device:

  • Appear on lock screen
  • Tap to open directly in BLDR
  • Require mobile app to be installed

Email Notifications

  • Delivered to your registered email
  • Include links to view in BLDR
  • Can be configured for digest or immediate

In-App Notifications

  • Appear in the notification bell
  • Badge count shows unread items
  • History of all notifications

Configuring Notifications

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. For each notification type, choose:
    • Push notification (on/off)
    • Email notification (on/off)
    • Frequency (immediate, daily digest, weekly)
  3. Save your preferences
Quiet Hours

Set quiet hours to prevent notifications during off-hours. Go to Settings → Notifications → Quiet Hours.

Managing Notifications

  • Mark as Read - Clear the notification
  • Mark All Read - Clear all notifications
  • View History - See past notifications
  • Filter - Show specific notification types
