Create and configure new projects in BLDR to organize your job site data and team assignments.

Creating a New Project

  1. Go to Projects in the main navigation
  2. Click + New Project
  3. Enter project information
  4. Configure settings
  5. Assign team members
  6. Click Create Project

Project Information

Basic Details

  • Project Name - Descriptive name
  • Project Number - Your internal reference number
  • Address - Job site location
  • Client/Owner - Who the project is for

Dates

  • Start Date - Project commencement
  • Estimated End Date - Target completion
  • Contract Value - Optional, for tracking

Project Settings

  • Cost Codes - Which codes apply to this project
  • Forms Required - Which forms are mandatory
  • Notification Recipients - Who gets alerts
  • Photo Requirements - Minimum photos per day

Team Assignments

  1. Go to project settings
  2. Click Team Members
  3. Click + Add Members
  4. Select users from your organization
  5. Set their project role if different from default
  6. Save

Project Status

  • Active - In progress, all features enabled
  • On Hold - Temporarily paused
  • Completed - Finished, read-only
  • Archived - Hidden from default views
Project Templates

Create a project template with your standard settings to speed up project creation. Go to Settings → Project Templates.
