Track your equipment across job sites, monitor maintenance schedules, and log usage with BLDR's equipment tracking feature.

Adding Equipment

  1. Go to Settings → Equipment
  2. Click + Add Equipment
  3. Enter equipment details:
    • Name/Description
    • Equipment ID/Number
    • Category (Vehicle, Tool, Heavy Equipment)
    • Make/Model
    • Serial Number
    • Purchase Date
  4. Upload a photo of the equipment
  5. Click Save

Equipment Categories

  • Vehicles - Trucks, vans, trailers
  • Heavy Equipment - Excavators, loaders, cranes
  • Power Tools - Saws, drills, grinders
  • Hand Tools - Hammers, wrenches, measuring devices
  • Safety Equipment - Fall protection, PPE
  • Scaffolding - Scaffolds, ladders, lifts

Tracking Location

Know where your equipment is at all times:

  1. Open a piece of equipment
  2. Tap Update Location
  3. Select the current project/site
  4. Add any notes
  5. Save the location update

View location history to see where equipment has been assigned.

Maintenance Tracking

Scheduled Maintenance

  • Set maintenance intervals (by hours, miles, or date)
  • Receive reminders when maintenance is due
  • Track maintenance history

Logging Maintenance

  1. Open the equipment record
  2. Tap Log Maintenance
  3. Enter maintenance type and description
  4. Record costs if applicable
  5. Update next service date
Maintenance Alerts

BLDR automatically sends notifications when equipment is due for scheduled maintenance. Don't let maintenance fall behind!

Usage Logging

Log equipment hours in Daily Logs:

  • Select equipment used on the job
  • Enter hours or miles
  • Add operator name
  • Usage is automatically tracked over time

Equipment Reports

Generate reports showing:

  • Equipment location summary
  • Maintenance history and costs
  • Usage by project
  • Equipment requiring service

Equipment Checkout

For tools and portable equipment:

  1. Worker scans or selects equipment
  2. Checks out to their name
  3. Checks back in when returned
  4. Track who has what equipment
